Rob Westman and Kay Walton presented a stellar program at the Myrtle Wilks community Center Auditorium on Thursday, December 8. Westman is a writer and Abilene ISD videographer. Walton is an Abilene artist. They brought a few of Walton’s paintings that were used extensively in Westman’s recent documentary movie. The movie resulted from research to write a children’s book about George Washington’s life, how Washington recognized the Providence that guided and protected him and his fellow patriots throughout their days. The movie was shown at the Majestic theater this past summer and was well received.
CWC helped sponsor this December Myrtle Wilks event.
