At the March, 2025, meeting of the Cisco Writers Club, author and poet Roma Holley gave a presentation on her healing experience after the death of her son Zachary. She described how she wrote throughout the years-long journey. Holley read several poems, some from her book, Surviving the Storm Through the Wind of the Spirit, and two more recent poems, too. She explained how her faith in God, others’ prayers, and writing all played roles in her healing. Holley also spelled out the steps she took to get her book published.
