Cisco Writers Club

We are friendly, energetic writers determined to improve and achieve. Our monthly meetings, knowledgeable speakers, newsletters, workshops, contests, and other features are great, but our greatest strength is our members. Our fiscal year runs October through September, but anytime is a great time to join or to renew your membership. Membership is only $25 for twelve months (discounts for students, families, and life-time memberships).

Monthly Meetings

Except for special events, our monthly meetings take place on the first Thursday of each month at 7 PM at Connect Spot inside Myrtle Wilks Community Center in Cisco. See our website’s home page for the latest information on upcoming meetings and events, or visit us on Facebook.

We are grateful for the list below of the Charter Members of the Cisco Writers Club, the only list known to exist from the Club’s first year. It is mentioned in the official minutes of the Club’s second meeting on March 4, 1975. Since the Charter Membership roll remained open for one year, it is almost certainly incomplete.
