Cisco Writers Club members and friends gathered at the Connect Spot in the Myrtle Wilks Community Center for first page critiques. Everybody brought something to read aloud or to pass out. There was poetry, non-fiction, theology, and fiction. Writers gave one another helpful advice and encouragement. We need to schedule another critique session for 2025!
As an aside, due to the Cisco parade and Santa event, our normal meeting place at the historic Conrad Hilton Center was unavailable. Connect Spot was a last-minute decision. It’s such a wonderful, quiet place with huge, round tables conducive to discussion that the group wished to hold more meetings there. For all of 2025, Ruth York was able to reserve the first Thursday of each month at 7PM at Connect Spot for Cisco Writers Club. Thank you, Ruth!
