At the January meeting of the Cisco Writers Club, members brainstormed and came up with a schedule for the rest of 2025 on the first Thursday of each month:

April: J.V. Lewis – “Learning from My Readings,” at Connect Spot inside the Myrtle Wilks Community Center
May: Loretta Brister – “Organizations & Conferences and How They Can Benefit Writers,” at Connect Spot inside the Myrtle Wilks Community Center
June: CWC 50th Anniversary Celebration, at the Big Dam room inside the Myrtle Wilks Community Center
July: Priscilla Bettis – Poetry Workshop, at Connect Spot inside the Myrtle Wilks Community Center
August: Helen Cozart, at Connect Spot inside the Myrtle Wilks Community Center
September: Writing Contest Awards Ceremony with a Nod to CWC’s 50th Anniversary, at the Big Dam room inside the Myrtle Wilks Community Center
October: Helen Cozart – Writing Workshop at Ranger College with Guest Facilitator from Tarleton State University
November: Roma Holley – Thanksgiving Meal, Speaker TBR, tentatively at Daugherty Street Church of Christ in Eastland
December: Shann Arriaga – Setting Writing Goals for 2026, at Connect Spot inside the Myrtle Wilks Community Center
