At the June, 2026, meeting of the Cisco Writers Club, author Priscilla Bettis talked about five different ways to come up with short fiction ideas and how to execute them. She pointed to examples in her short story collection, Whispers of a Southern Moon. Then author Shane Tovar introduced his debut novella, In the Night Sky. He talked about his journey to publication and read the first chapter. Members were able to buy signed copies of Shane’s book after the reading. Thank you, Priscilla and Shane!
